I booked this as a gift for my autistic son. He is 13 years old and the experience he had was outstanding. Rick was so kind, professional and understanding. My son absolutely loved every minute and we will be back. I cannot recommend ProFlite highly enough and I found the experience exhilarating and emotional watching my son. This was a brilliant experience for my 17yr old daughter who has a strong interest interest in civil aviation. Rick was knowledgeable and patient, answering questions about his experience and views on different types of aircraft. His tuition was first rate and even I felt that, in an emergency ( having watched and paid attention) that I could probably take the controls of an A320 in an emergency! We have just returned ground bound via the dreaded M1 and M25 from, ironically, almost the same journey in Captain Rick's A320 simulator!

My wife had booked this for me as a Christmas present. I have held a Private Pilot's Licence some years ago and always retain an interest in aviation (actually, that sounds too technical - make that 'flying') and I thought this would be fun.  That thought was a complete underestimate as for an hour I was completely immersed in what has to be the nearest thing to a real commercial flight - the whole experience from a take off at Stanstead to a landing at Heathrow via London, Kent and the Essex coast was absolutely gripping and a real insight as to the complexity of these modern aircraft.

From the moment of arrival our Captain was most welcoming and charming.  The set-up he has built is absolutely fantastic, it is hard to believe that 5 minutes prior we were parking our car outside!

All in all, I could not recommend this experience highly enough, whatever your desires and aspirations in aviation are or whether you are simply wanting to experience something that, as passengers, we tend to take for granted,
treat yourself to a session - you will never regret it and like me, you will be buzzing on the way home.  As you sit, stationary, on the M1.

Fantastic experience for anyone who is interested in trying to fly in a professional and realistic simulator. My son is an aspiring commercial pilot and he thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hours with Rick. It very nice to meet this lovely gentleman Rick
My 15 years old son ,enjoyed so much this experience, first off all ,meeting a pilot which was his dream and secondly to fly the plane simulator and getting some expert advice from a real pilot. The pilot gave good tips and advice to our son, he was a gentleman, kind and very patient while he was explaining and training our son how to fly the plane. We as parents as well had a lovely experience, we would recommend to everyone who enjoys simulating flying planes. The hour spent with Rick in the A320 was a brilliant experience. Getting strapped into the A320 was brilliant and I loved getting deep into the systems used by the aircraft. I left a lot more knowledgeable in commercial operations. Rick also told a bunch of interesting stories!

For an aviation geek like myself this was an amazing experience.

Rick is not only so passionate and knowledgeable with his experience but he clearly loves sharing it with others.

After a full briefing we went through a whole flight right up to parking on a stand at Heathrow.  Rick pointed out how different things worked and answered the (many) questions I had.

If you are in two minds about whether to book this all I can say is you will not regret it!!

Despite this being a fixed-base simulator it really does give you the feeling of being on the flight deck of an A320 it is so realistic.

I am sure the grin may fade at some point but for now "Speedbird 522 - Cleared to land!!)
